Designer Jesse Junko Beardslee has been creating one of a kind custom gowns for over a dozen years and has dressed over 50 custom formal clients. With careful consideration to fit and comfort you can co-create the dress of your dreams! Regardless of where you are, consultations, designing, and fittings can be done remotely for much of the process. Working from a design studio in New York State's Premiere Wine Region offers many perks to visit for fittings!
The dress designing process is a rewarding and challenging one. Every client has specific needs and desires, which we work very hard to satisfy. A custom gown is for a client that is looking for something a department store cannot provide: A completely unique creation only for you. Themis and Thread's designer creates textural frocks as varied as our customers. Working closely together to develop your dream dress is a truly remarkable experience. Let your style and personality shine through your gown. Designer guide Jesse Junko Beardslee interprets your personal style, gown concepts, and event with you for a truly one of a kind creation.
100% of the process is done in Themis and Thread's vertically integrated studio. Designing, sourcing, consulting, draping, pattern drafting, mock up making, fittings, sample making, and the final garment construction is all done in house. The original designs, final pattern and finished samples can be purchased at an additional cost.
Listing price is a refundable down payment, not a final cost or a contract.
Generally a Themis and Thread custom gown costs around $1,000 - but can be more or less depending on design ($800-$5,000). Due to the variable nature of every individual creation, cost varies widely. It may seem like a long time, but a year before the event is the most ideal time frame for custom bridal creation.
