Themis and Thread Designer and Founder Jesse Junko Beardslee is partnering with Southeast Steuben County Library to offer a free Three Part Series of YouTube Upcycling Tutorials.  "Work With What You've Got" embodies the ethos of Themis and Thread in a way that everyone can experience.  We've all got stained, ripped, or otherwise unwanted clothing, so let's turn it into something new!  Jesse's Tutorials will air as #SeWednesday classes July 15, 22 and 29 at 6pm on the Corning Library's YouTube Channel.
If you'd like to see how you can transform t shirts, tank tops, button downs, dresses, skirts, jeans, neckties, belts, buttons, ribbons, lace or anything else you can get your hands on, tune in!  This three part series will offer lessons in upcycling, embellishment and garment construction.  Create either one dress, or three separate pieces.  Offering these options will allow for discovery even if you miss a class! Break out your sewing machines for #SeWednesday!
